Hair Color: Dark brown
Eye Color: Blue
Social Class: Middle
Occupation: Student/Intern at a record label
Hometown: Ashland
Introduction:
Gabriel slipped on his shoes, holding the cell phone up to his ear with his shoulder. His sister was talking in his ear about her boyfriend, but he wasn't fully listening. He laced up his sneakers and stood up, moving his guitar out of the way and picking up his bottle of Ativan, throwing back one of the pills. "Gabe, are you even listening?" Anna sighed, sounding exasperated. "You never listen, Jesus." Gabe rolled his eyes and opened the door, grabbing his wallet right before it closed. "Sorry, Ann, I've gotta go to class now. Little preoccupied." She sighed dramatically again and he grinned to himself, listening to her say goodbye before hanging up and putting the phone back in his pocket.
He took the stairs two at a time and walked quickly to the subway station, weaving between people on the street to get downstairs in time to catch his train. When it came, he stepped into it and sat down, closing his eyes and going over his notes in his head. It was a relatively long ride, so he could either sleep or semi-study. He would probably just sleep, but he could at least tell himself that he would concentrate on his future for the duration of a subway ride. It wasn't like he really required a college education to be a music producer, though.
He got off the subway at his stop in Bend and switched to a line going to East Village, finally arriving twenty minutes or so later. He went up the stairs to the street, making a face when he saw that it had started raining while he was on the train. Luckily, he really only had a few blocks more to walk 'til he got to the college campus, and the building he needed was one of the first by the entrance. Of course, he was soaking by the time he got there, but he would dry eventually.
