I just remembered that when I was planning this roleplay with my friends (they don't RP for the most part anymore) after our old old old roleplay (http://ebon.proboards23.com/) died a slow, quiet death, a major theme in this plot would be a twisted perception of politics, and themes of misinformation and manipulation.
When we get a suitable amount of people, I was going to invent 3 or 4 electoral candidates for being the Prime Minister of the Lindon Isles, their platforms and histories, and based on that information, you would vote, and whomever gets the most votes, well, wins the election and is the ruling entity for the rest of the RP. The size of the sphere of influence the Prime Minister has isn't very well known, so his power could be useless, or the most potent. There will be hidden agendas, and you may or may not be able to discern the truth from the lies and propganda.
Funny- that sounds like a helluva lot like real life.
But anyways, the point is: DO YOU WANT TO ELECT A PRIME MINISTER WHEN WE GET X AMOUNT OF PLAYERS?
